In this talk the speaker will introduce anchor system on various type of structural application and examine the factors that affect anchor performance and the design considerations that designers/engineers should be considered. Then the speaker will look at the rigorous testing requirements and standards that manufacturers must comply with to ensure safe and reliable product performance. Finally, the speaker will discuss quality control procedures used during the on-site installation of anchors in order to ensure proper workmanship. This will include an overview of innovations in anchor technology.
