This event will visit various locations so as to allow members to know more about (1) Green Hoarding System, (2) Environmental Friendly Steel Products, and (3) Safety Products in Tai Kok Tsui.

(1) Green Hoarding System

The Green Hoarding System is a new hoarding design, which provides a environmental friendly and safety solution for construction project. The semi-rigid joint design of the system allows a significant reduction in steel member structure sizes, combining with primarily nuts and bolts for on-site installation and providing an economic solution. The system can minimize the disturbances and potential hazards to workers and pedestrians during the welding procedure. It makes use of the steel awarded with CIC Green Carbon Labelling Scheme, enhancing the green environment by reducing greenhouse gas emission.

The speakers will brief the new concepts of Green Hoarding System and guide our members to visit a site with Green Hoarding System.

(2) Environmental Friendly Steel Products

Wo Lee Green Solutions Ltd. was set up in 2015. It aims to enhance one-stop service in analyzing design drawing, supply, pre-fabrication and transportation. It also concerns building life cycle by contributing green building materials and sustainable development to the construction industry. Members will be presented with various environmental friendly steel products in Wo Lee Green Solutions Centre.

(3) Safety Products

Wo Lee Plus was newly opened in early 2017. It aims to offer quality personal safety products. With the new retail concept, members can find latest safety gears and enjoying a different experience by interactive in-store display.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
