Dr. William Chan
Chief Operating Officer, West Kowloon Cultural District Authority

Dr. Chan joined the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority in June 2016. He has over 40 years of experience in property development, construction project management and project delivery in both the private and public sectors, covering major projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Prior to joining the Authority, Dr. Chan was Executive Director of Kerry Properties Limited. He also held senior management and professional positions at Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited from 1999 to 2002 and at MTR Corporation from 1980 to 1985 for the MTR Island Line property developments.

Dr. Chan is both a Fellow Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors.

9:45 am	Gather at Exit A of the MTR Kowloon Station
9:50 am	Shuttle Bus departs
10:00 am	Introduction of the West Kowloon Cultural District project by Dr. William Chan
11:00 am	Construction update of Freespace, Art Park and M+ building by Dr. Chan at the deck of M+ Pavilion
11:15 am	Visit ‘Samson Young: Songs for Disaster Relief World Tour’ exhibition at M+ Pavilion
12:00 nn	End of visit. Dismiss at the MTR Kowloon Station

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
