Speaker	:	Mr. Albert Wong Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Hong Kong Limited Albert has over 19 years of consulting experience. He directed a project to assist the Hong Kong Government with developing a Smart City Blueprint for Hong Kong and for the Office of the Government Chief Information Office. He also led a development strategy of a Common Spatial Data Infrastructure for the Development Bureau, which is a key element underpinning the Smart City initiative. In addition, Albert also worked on a number of projects related to the subject of innovation and technology in Hong Kong. Albert holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Sr Chan Yue-chun Sr Chan is currently a Senior Land Surveyor working under Planning and Lands Branch of Development Bureau, Government of the HKSAR. His over 20 years professional experience covers engineering surveying, hydrographic surveying, cadastral surveying and spatial data analysis/management. He is now involving in the CSDI development. In addition, Sr Chan has been actively involved in HKIS activities, for instance, he was General Council member, ex-YSG (formerly known as JO) Chairman and Vice Chairman of Land Surveying Division.

Details	:	In 2017, PwC completed the consultancy study for the Smart City Blueprint for Hong Kong. The report covers eight major areas including policy objectives and strategies, development plans, governance arrangement, digital infrastructure, legal framework, public-private collaboration, crowdsourcing of ideas and pilot proposals. To ensure a more holistic view on the development of a Smart Hong Kong, the report has proposed a wide range of activities covering six major smart themes - Smart Mobility, Smart Living, Smart Environment, Smart People, Smart Government and Smart Economy. One of the key success factors for successful smart city implementation is availability of data for research, commercial and innovation purposes. Data covers both spatial data and other non-spatial data, in structured and unstructured forms. Indeed, the Chief Executive has pledged to open more geospatial and geo-tagged data of the Government. In this event the speakers will share with participants their views on the vision for smart city, the key elements of the Hong Kong Smart City Blueprint, the need for having a Spatial Data Infrastructure in Hong Kong, and ways in which spatial data may be used to support Smart City initiatives and enhance the quality of life of our people.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
