Details	:	Itinerary: 9:00 am – Gather at Metroplaza transport pick up point in Kwai Fong 9:15 am – Depart from Metroplaza & Briefing 9:30 am – Presentation 10:30 am – Factory visit 11:45 am – Q&A 12:00 noon – Depart from Factory 12:15 pm – Dismiss at Metroplaza (The scheduled time may be changed so as to suit the actual conditions on the date of the visit.) (Successful registration will receive details of the visit.) VSC Construction Steel Solutions Limited (“VSC”) is the first plant in Hong Kong that named in the “List of Approved Steel Reinforcing Bar Prefabrication Yards" in 2016. Over these years, VSC has been supporting the construction industry of the region and is recognized as a pioneer in the respect of rebar automated processing and supply chain efficiency. Today the stakeholders of Hong Kong construction industry are aware of the advantages of adopting off-site rebar cut-and-bend. The automated rebar processing machine and system in VSC plant have been continuously updated and strengthened to deal with the expanding demand of the industry. This visit will allow members to see the automatic cut-and-bend machine and its off-site steel bar cut-and-bend process. After the visit, members should understand how the rebar supply chain will evolve into a safer, processing efficient and environmental-friendly model.

Please fill in the attached Declaration Form together with Standard Reservation Form for this CPD event. First-come-first-served with duly completed Standard Reservation Form, Declaration Form and payment. Please equip with your own non-slip shoes. Latecomers will NOT be picked up.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
