Stanley is a Consultant solicitor in Deacons, a full-service law firm in Hong Kong. He is a Solicitor admitted in the High Court of Hong Kong SAR, a Fellow of the HKIS, a Fellow of RICS and a Fellow of CIOB. He has over 35 years of experience serving the construction industry and has worked for reputable developers, consultants and contractors on building, heavy civil engineering, railway and other infrastructure projects in Hong Kong, Macau, China, the Middle East and Australia. He specializes in construction law, contract administration, project management, tendering strategies, Public–Private Partnerships and resolution of construction disputes through mediation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation. Stanley also advises on the use of NEC contracts.

In this seminar, Sr Stanley Lo will share his experience as a practising construction lawyer with quantity surveying backgrounds on some practical tips and tactics to avoid construction disputes from escalating to confrontational dispute resolution measures. Stanley will also discuss the effectiveness of senior representatives’ discussions, negotiations, mediations and adjudications making reference to some practical real case examples.
