Speaker	:	Mr. Victor Yeung Chief Investment Officer, Admiral Investment Limited Victor Yeung is the founding managing partner and chief investment officer of Admiral Investment Limited. Since 2013, he has been responsible for the firm’s overall strategy and day-to-day management of the funds. From 2007 to 2013, Victor was with LaSalle Investment Management, where he managed the Asia Pacific portion of the USD10billion Global Real Estate Securities program and eventually became its Managing Director, Asia Pacific Securities. Victor started the Asia Pacific Securities office for LaSalle Investment. He also previously worked for Morgan Stanley and American Express. Victor also serves as an Educational Councilor for MIT. Since 2008, Victor has served as a lecturer for various industry and academic institutions, including the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA), Hong Kong Securities Institute (HKSI), Oxford Brookes University, the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong, and the University of Hong Kong. Victor is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and he holds the Advanced Diploma in Managerial Accounting with the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting. Victor writes regular columns for several news organizations in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, and he is a co-host for a live TV segment at Now TV.

Details	:	In the month since the COVID-19 outbreak, the equities markets have fallen by 30%. Some major REITs are now showing a 40% or more discount over their book value. In this talk, Victor will discuss the short term mechanism of the fall, and how institutional investors may seek to change their asset allocation in this time.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
