Speaker	:	Mr. Terence Hui is the Deputy Director of Paul Y Engineering and possesses experience in project and construction management in Hong Kong and Macau including residential, commercial, hotel and recently civic works of HKU Student Resident and SKORC Q-camp MiC project. He is a Registered Architect, Certified NEC ECC Professionals under Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors and a recent graduate of Master of Science in Integrated Project Delivery (MSc IPD) of HKU. In recent years, he is working in the CEO Office of Paul Y., actively promoting Digital Project Management Systems, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) and Modular Integrated Constrution (MiC). He aims to integrate Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) to deliver value to the industry throught IPD.

Details	:	Mr. Terence Hui will share his experience of Sai Kung Temporary Quarantine MiC project with some challenges and problems that encounted by the team of Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Suppliers. Telling us how to manage and tackle of the MiC project, from the design, manufacture, logistic, and installation sequence which are all different to the traditional construction. The Temporary Quarantine Centre being built with modular integrated construction (MiC) at the mini soccer pitch centre, three blocks of 3-storey building in total 99 units. It is sufficient to all requirepment including fire access, quality control and factory inspection within a very short construction time and even the limition under Covid-19.
Remarks	:	The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Successful registrants will be notified separately via email with the web link in due course to the online event . Please install the Zoom Application in advance at https://www.zoom.us/download. For Mobile phones, iPads & Android, install the ZOOM Cloud Meetings app from App Store or Play Store. For PC and Mac, download and install the Zoom Client for Meetings.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
