The birth of the first smartphone UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System), AR, in 2010 innovated by French Parrot has been leading the UAS to be utilized as a low-altitude aircraft of recording the inaccessible objects at hazardous / cramped location for various derivative needs, other than the bare capturing of leisure photographing. UAS devices are necessarily deployed for remote building defect detection, preventing epidemic from dissemination among the building workers.

Good aerial surveying practice requires the synchronized mental control of UAS safe & orderly flying and seamless mechanical manoeuvre of sophistical thermal equipment for satisfying the purpose of professional building maintenance projects. However, UAS aircraft manufacturers and leisure photographers are traditionally not responsible for supplying such drone technical training.

The CPD will provide an intensive presentation of UAS aeronautical knowledge and demonstrate the technical requirements of aerial capturing imaging by way of thermography and defect identification from the cement external walls in line with the official aviation safety requirements and the common practice of building maintenance.  Successful case study of applying AI technology for recognizing the external wall building defects will be demonstrated in the CPD.
