Introduction

The Holy Spirit Seminary was rated as a first-class historical building. It is a Chinese Renaissance-style building that integrates the architectural styles of the Chinese court and Italy. It is a rare and complete complex of seminary buildings in the local area and retains the feature in 1930s-1950s. The South Building of the seminary was completed in 1931 and used as the South China General Seminary. It was one of the first 11 general seminaries established in China. Mr Lam Sair Ling, the specialist in heritage conservation, will take participants to learn how Seminary with the purpose to cultivate the Monks becoming priestess to serve local Catholic church.  Members could know more campus from this website http://hss.org.hk/campus_en.html

1. Participants should refer visiting rules of Holy Spirit Seminary

2. Online registration is NOT accepted for this CPD event. First-come-first-served with duly completed Declaration FormStandard Reservation Form and payment.

3. Successful registrants will receive an email confirmation.

4. All participants will be asked to wear masks during the visit, maintain social distance and comply with the latest regulations regarding prohibition on group gathering.

5. All participating members shall arrange their own transport to the venue.

6. While HKIS will arrange for insurance policy (COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded) for the participants, members may consider taking out their own insurance policy to cover their own risks.

7. Latecomers will NOT be picked up and will NOT be allowed to join the visit.
