Speaker	:	Mr. Russell Lang Mr. Lang is the Project Director of Contract NE/2015/01. He has nearly 40 years of civil engineering projects experience, and has been the in charge of mega size infrastructure projects in Hong Kong and other countries around the world. Sr David Tam BSc (QS), PGC (HKL), MA (Arb&DR), MRICS, MHKIS Sr David Tam is the Head of Commercial in Leighton Contractors (Asia) Ltd. He is an accomplished leader who has extensive and diverse construction industry experience in major developments and large civil Infrastructure projects. Mr. Tam also holds the position of Commercial Manager of Contract NE/2015/01. Sr Law Sing Long, Joseph BSc(Hons), FHKIS, RPS(QS), PgDip (Arb) Sr Joseph Law is a Commercial Manager in China State Construction Engineering Ltd. He has over 20 years of construction industry experience in a wide range of private development and large civil Infrastructure projects across Asia and Hong Kong. Mr. Law also holds the position of Deputy Commercial Manager of Contract NE/2015/01.

Details	:	The project is for the construction of a dual two-lane highway approximately 3.8 km long connecting Tseung Kwan O (TKO) at Po Shun Road in the east with proposed Trunk Road T2 in Kai Tak Development in the west. About 2.2 km of the highway is in the form of tunnel. The contract sum of the project is HK$8.7 Billion. This project, together with the Trunk Road T2 and Central Kowloon Route (in progress), will form the Route 6 which will provide an east-west express link between West Kowloon and TKO areas. The TKO-LTT project is being developed to alleviate traffic congestion during peak hours at the existing Tseung Kwan O Tunnel and to meet the traffic demand from the anticipated population increase in the Tseung Kwan O district. The commercial and claims management in post contract stages are the key factors for successful delivery of this project. The site professional quantity surveying team will share some insights and experience gained on this project to roundoff the event.

Admitted participants are required either (a) to receive two doses of Covid 19 vaccination; or (b) to possess a negative test result certificate for Covid 19 within 14 days prior to the date for site visit. Before entering the site, an electronic health declaration form shall be completed. All participants will be asked to wear masks during the visit, maintain social distance and comply with the latest regulations regarding prohibition on group gathering. All participating members shall arrange their own transport to the venue. While HKIS will arrange for insurance policy (COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded) for the participants, members may consider taking out their own insurance policy to cover their own risks Latecomers will NOT be picked up and will NOT be allowed to join the visit.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
