Speaker	:	Sr Eric Tsang, Senior Lands and Buildings Manager, CLP Power Hong Kong Limited Sr Jolly Leung, Assistant Lands and Buildings Manager, CLP Power Hong Kong Limited Sr Eric Tsang, a member of GPD of HKIS, is supervising the operation of Lands and Buildings Branch at Transmission Department of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP Power). While Transmission Department provides one-stop shop services for establishing, operating and maintaining the transmission system of CLP Power, the Branch is responsible for dealing with town planning and land related matters during the whole life cycle of all operational premises owned/leased by CLP Power. Sr Jolly Leung, a member of GPD of HKIS, is catering for all internal valuation tasks of CLP Power including land acquisition, lease modification and property disposal and leasing.

Details	:	The operation of a power supply system involves the functioning of different utility facilities from power stations to distribution substations and connecting cables. This CPD event will introduce various types of utility facilities including power generation, transmission and distribution facilities and the related land issues involved in establishing these facilities. Furthermore, the CPD event will also highlight the Shoe Box Approach which is adopted for assessing the land value of utility facilities.
Remarks	:	The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Successful registrants will be notified separately via email with the web link in due course to the online event. Please install the Zoom Application in advance at https://www.zoom.us/download. For Mobile phones, iPads & Android, install the ZOOM Cloud Meetings app from App Store or Play Store. For PC and Mac, download and install the Zoom Client for Meetings.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
