Sr Wong has been practising for 30 years with the qualification of General Practice & Valuation Surveyor, Chartered Building Engineer and Property Litigation Expert Witness. He holds the unique globally-recognised judicial record of land resumption valuation litigation (FAMV No. 18 of 2010). He is appointed by a property investor as the property acquiring representative due to the acquaintance of civil proceedings in the conveyancing, title requisitions, tenure/estate, registered/registrable/unregistered legal interests in land, covenants, registration of deeds, land grant process, agglomeration or slicing of land lots and property development process. Since 2004, Wong has been personally directly handled the analysis of deeds for undefective acquisition, the drafting of sale and purchase contract, negotiation of acquisition price, distribution of cheque, sales marketing, viability study, financing, owners’ joint sale and agglomeration of strata-title shareholdings for direct sale to developers and compulsory sale respectively at law.

Sr Wong started the pioneer case of compulsory sale litigation in early 2000 and gained the favourable judicial judgment without records of precedent cases. He continues reviewing the precedent judicial cases for updating the professional practice of compulsory sale litigation and provides the strategic advice to both of developers and strata-title owners. Wong will share the practical experience with HKIS practitioners about the latest rulings of compulsory sale and the proper way of professional practice in the process of selling the strata-title units to the developers or agglomeration of the title shareholdings for redevelopment of old Chinese Tenement Buildings.
