Speaker	:	Sr Gary Yeung Sr Gary Yeung obtained his BSc(Hon) Degree and MBA from the University of Reading, and LLB from the University of London. He qualified as a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has more than 40 years’ experience in real estate management, working in organizations including the HKSAR Government, developer, project consultancy practice and property management companies. He retired as the General Manager of Shui On Properties Management Limited and currently offering part-time teaching and training for some university/institute as well as the two surveying institutes. He also makes use of his leisure to serve the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors on a voluntary basis for more than 20 years initially in the Building Surveying Division, and thereafter in the Property and Facility Management Division, Board of Membership and General Council. He was the Past Chairman of the Property and Facility Management Division (2009-2011), Past Honorary Treasurer of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and Surveyors Registration Board, and Past Vice-President of the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies. He also serves the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management and was elected as the President 2021/2022. He had participated in several legislative consultations essentially the amendment of Building Management Ordinance (Cap 344), Mandatory Building Inspection Scheme (MBIS) and the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap 626). He was the core writer of a proposal namely “Building Affairs Tribunal” which was submitted to the Government in 2005 and had attracted much debate during the MBIS consultation.

Details	:	This seminar is organized to cover the following topics: In the past two years, property and facility management practitioners have been facing tremendous pressure to combat COVID-19. There had been several new equipment and technology developed in order to avoid human contact, disinfection and hand sanitization. This seminar will try to bring out some popular equipment and management arrangement to deal with these problems. There will be discussion on the followings: 1) The New Normal in Times of COVID-19 2) Some Current Facilities on Hygiene Improvement 3) Sharing of Growing Trend of Some Facility Management Technology The purpose of the seminar is also to showcase the effort and innovation of the property and facility management practitioners in particular to salute to those who had been infected COVID-19 while helping the industry to maintain professional services. 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
