Details :

The HKIS Members‛ Welfare Committee is organising the first social event in 2022, 2 flower arrangement workshops, for all HKIS members.  Participants can create their own flower basket with fresh flower in three hours and take home their creation.  Tutors will introduce different types of equipment and floral materials for flower arrangement and how to handle soil and floral materials. Flower arrangement will be demonstrated.

The workshops welcome beginners with no floral arrangement experience.

Remarks :

1) Each member can register for one class (either on 20 August 2022 from Class A: 10:30am - 1:30pm OR Class B: 2:30pm – 5:30pm)

2) The content of the workshop is the same for Class A and Class B.

3) This event is not eligible for CPD hours.

4) While HKIS will NOT arrange for insurance policy for the participants, members may consider taking out their own insurance policy to cover their own risks.

5) This event accepts registration from HKIS members only.

 

*For Face-to-Face: Special arrangements under COVID-19 Pandemic*:

  • Prior online registration is required. Walk-in registration will not be entertained.
  • All visitors to the HKIS Surveyors Learning Centre (SLC) (ie Lecture Room, Board Room, Meeting Rooms 1 & 2 and Library) are required to take a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on the day of the visit. This arrangement will take effect from 6 June 2022 until further notice.
  • Participants should scan the “LeaveHomeSafe安心出行” QR code with their mobile phones or register their personal information in the online Health Declaration Form (https://forms.office.com/r/Q7vDYmtfxQ) upon arrival at the Surveyors Learning Centre.
  • Participants will be denied entry if they fail to scan the “LeaveHomeSafe安心出行” QR code or complete the online Health Declaration Form.
  • Participants will be denied entry to the Surveyors Learning Centre if they have been travelling abroad, or have been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or have any symptoms of COVID-19 (including but not limited to fever, cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulty, sudden loss of taste or smell and/or sore throat) in the last 21 days, or have been confirmed with COVID-19 or undergoing compulsory quarantine or medical surveillance arrangements of the HKSAR Department of Health.
  • Participants are required to wear a surgical mask at all times at the Surveyors Learning Centre.
  • Eating and drinking is not allowed at the Surveyors Learning Centre.
  • Disinfection service has been arranged at the Surveyors Learning Centre (comprising the Lecture Room, Meeting Room 1, Board Room, Library and Meeting Room 2).
