Speaker	:	Mr Eddie Fung (CEO – Nanofil Filtration Technology Ltd.) Eddie is a seasoned building services and facility management practitioner and was one of the founders of Building Services Operation and Maintenance Executive Society (BSOMES). He was trained up in mechanical engineering and a MBA graduate. He is knowledgeable and experienced in Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) management, energy saving and building services operation and maintenance. Eddie also installed an Ice Storage Air-conditioning system when he was working in CLP, which was the largest system of this kind in Hong Kong at that moment. Before starting his own business in air filtration, he was the head of facility management of Hang Seng Bank and was responsible for overall management of various building services systems of the bank’s headquarters, branch network, offices, investment properties and data center. Starting from 2016, he led and completed a R&D project of nanofibrous air filter and is one of the inventors. He is devoted to continuously improve the indoor air quality through application of contemporary technologies.

Details	:	IAQ has been getting increased public concerns particularly under the pandemic situation. Air filter is commonly used on air-conditioning system to remove the pollutants such as PM2.5 or even PM0.3 if virus is concerned. This webinar will talk about the following. Remarks	:	The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Upon successful payment of the registration fee, the ZOOM link for joining the CPD event will be available in the CPD/PQSL profile under the "Member Area" of the HKIS website. On-line registration is not applicable for non-HKIS members. To register, please complete the CPD registration form (https://www.hkis.org.hk/en/pdf/Standard_Reservation_Form2020.pdf) and return with payment to the HKIS Secretariat. 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
