Speaker	:	Mr. Kenson Yeung Director at Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Appraisal and Advisory Limited Kenson has extensive experience in providing business valuations and ESG reporting advisory services to Hong Kong listed companies in accordance with ESG Reporting Guide published by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He is responsible for ESG reporting, calculating greenhouse gases and carbon footprint directly or indirectly generated, as well as advising clients how to set KPIs and action plans for improvements in the short and long terms. Kenson holds the Certificate in ESG Investing issued by the CFA Institute. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) holder and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder. He also holds Master Degree of Finance with double major in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from the University of Hong Kong, as well as Master Degree of Philosophy major in chemical and pharmaceutical research and Bachelor Degree of Science in Chemical Technology from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Details	:	The coronavirus pandemic accelerates the interconnectedness between sustainability and the financial market, with responsible investing being on the trajectory to the mainstream. Better ESG performing companies are associated with lower risks and higher returns, which can be reflected in the company’s value. Hence, establishing a systematic approach to integrate ESG factors into fair value calculation is of paramount importance for optimizing investment strategy. In this webinar, Mr. Kenson Yeung will highlight the following points: Companies with strong ESG propositions are usually associated with higher long term sustainable growth and credit ratings, along with lower volatility. Material ESG factors have an explicit impact on companies’ free cash flow adjustments, influencing the operating revenues, capital expenditures and taxes, etc. ESG performance is closely intertwined with the discount rate, which a risk premium is applied when companies score poorly in ESG metrics, resulting in a lower present value.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
