Details	:	Introduction of Gypsum Block Wall The application of Gypsum Block Wall recently has become a commonplace of building material in Hong Kong for both existing and new building. GREENTECH Gypsum Block Walling System is a certified green building product, offering a completely innovative solution that provides benefits to every aspect of today’s high demanding construction industry. Its advantages are High Density, 4-hr Fire-Rated Protection, Water-Repellent and good sound transmission class. Its installation requires no cement plastering and steel stiffener supporting up to 9m. Also, tongue & groove design and smooth surface ensures construction efficiency to save labour, money, time and space. Abstract In this sharing, GREENTECH Team first examines the unique characteristics and specification of Gypsum Block Wall System. The comparative advantages of Gypsum Block with other building materials including Concrete and Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) will be explored. Moreover, the Team shares their experiences of applying GREENTECH Gypsum Block Walling System into different types of buildings using the project references. The effective and sustainable ways to achieve benefits to different stakeholders including Architects, Designers, Developers and Contractors, in terms of cost, time and quality are highlighted. 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
