Details	:	The former Transport and Housing Bureau established the Task Force on Transitional Housing to actively support and facilitate multiple short-term initiatives put forward and carried out by community organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The aim was to increase the availability of transitional housing to 20,000 units by 2020. In order to aid these transitional housing initiatives, the Funding Scheme to Support NGO Transitional Housing Projects was created to address the substandard living conditions and lengthy waiting times for public housing experienced by low-income individuals. In response to the Government's initiative, Henderson Land Development Company Limited has taken the lead in implementing the largest transitional housing scheme in Hong Kong. They have provided Pok Oi Hospital with a site in Kong Ha Wai, Yuen Long, on a nominal rent of one dollar for a period of 7 years. The project encompasses a total area of 480,000 square feet, comprising primarily of the aforementioned private site (97.4%) and a small portion of government land (2.6%). The scheme aims to cater to low-income individuals who have been waiting for public housing for at least 3 years or currently reside in inadequate housing conditions. Henderson has actively supported Pok Oi Hospital in various aspects, including project planning, site formation, and project management. Meanwhile, Pok Oi Hospital is responsible for the actual construction of the project and its non-profit operation. The project is located at Kam Sheung Road, Yuen Long. It occupies a site area of approximately 480,000 square feet and is around 1,000 meters away from Kam Sheung Road Station. Remarks	:	PQSL hours shall be determined by the APC candidate's respective Division. 1. Online registration is accepted for this CPD event. First-come-first-served with duly completed Standard Reservation Form and Declaration Form. 2. All participating members shall arrange their own transport to the venue. 3. While HKIS will arrange for insurance policy for the participants, members may consider taking out their own insurance policy to cover their own risks. 4. Latecomers will NOT be picked up and will NOT be allowed to join the visit.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
