Speaker	:	Mr. Kevin Ng, MHKIBIM, Authorized Signature Mr. Kevin has over 40 years experience in the construction industry. Now, he is the Director of MDM. MDM is a precast concrete specialist especially in DfMA and Concrete MiC. Before joining MDM, Kevin is the Building Head of a local Group C Construction Group. He helps his ex-company to become an Arch SD Design and Build Contractor and Completed two D&B projects in 3 years time, he is the driver to enforce the effective use of BIM and fully adopted off site pre-cut and bend re-bar before he left his ex-company. Since he joined MDM in 2019, he has completed a few DfMA and MiC projects for the Company.

Details	:	Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) is an innovative construction method. MiC helps to ease some of the current challenges faced by the local construction industry. MiC integrated modules (completed with finishes, fixtures and fittings) are manufactured and assembled in a factory. By transferring on-site construction processes to a controlled factory environment, buildings can be substantially completed off-site. The adverse impacts of weather conditions, scarce labour resources and site constraints can all be substantially reduced. MiC provides a great degree of production quality control, and can improve construction productivity, safety and sustainability. Speaker will share his experience on MiC buildability and cost competitiveness in this CPD event.
Remarks	:	For FACE-TO-FACE: Prior online registration is required. Walk-in registration will not be entertained. Eating and drinking is not allowed at the Surveyors Learning Centre.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
